Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away, and in this SweisKloss design and built custom kitchen there’s plenty of room for cooking and entertaining, making this contemporary space both functional and fabulous.

The island is the dominant feature in the room. Made of Stone Mart’s Meridien Lether Quartzite, the material combines durability with style, it is resistant to scratches, chips, high heat and staining, so you don’t have to worry about spilling red wine! The subtle veining adds visual depth and sophistication to the design.

The island has the sink and lots of counter space, allowing the host to enjoy their guests while preparing dishes. It is also ideal for buffet style meals and gatherings. Plenty of soft close drawers and cabinets store cookware, serving platters, trays and other party paraphernalia. Featuring a built-in Subzero undercounter beverage center, host and guests will never be without a glass of bubbly this holiday season.

High-end appliances including a Wolf double oven, Thermador induction cooktop and Wolf Microwave guarantee (well, almost) that your holiday feast will be a gourmet delight. There’s plenty of room to keep leftovers fresh in the Subzero side-by-side refrigerator and freezer. A combination of open and closed shelving keeps the home chef organized and efficient. A large pantry provides space for ingredients and goodies. TileBar’s glossy porcelain Paint Verde Aqua backsplash tiles add a touch of color and compliment the warm tones of the cabinetry.

The open and airy kitchen is welcoming with lots of light from the sliding glass doors and skylight. Ceiling mounted task lighting further illuminates the space. The Tano Linear Minimalist pendant over the island is sleek and ensures a well-lit work area. Sauté, socialize and serve – this thoughtfully constructed kitchen allows you to do it all.
