Innovation, comfort and style were all on display in Las Vegas last month when our SK design team attended the International Builders Show and Kitchen and Bath Industry Show. Here are some products that were big winners with our group.
When it comes to kitchen design, utility met style with Hafele’s cutting board drawers that pull out flush with countertops for easy clean ups. Hafele’s motion detected trash bins seamlessly open and close with a slight motion of the foot. Hafele’s in-cabinet storage systems for spices and condiments were also a big hit, along with convenient features to organize utensils, pots and pans.

When it comes to filtered water systems, Zip Water’s HydroTap Arc for Home’s ability to provide boiling and chilled filtered water with just a flip of a switch was a highlight, but their sparkling water option really won the team over.

Wonderwall Studios’ Ludlow Mixed Salvaged

Sierra Pacific Windows & Doors

In keeping with SK’s commitment to sustainability, the team loved Wonderwall Studios’ salvaged wood wall paneling. From oak to walnut to teak collections, their reclaimed wood options feature flowing shapes, geometric designs and richly textured patterns.

Sierra Pacific Windows and Doors are committed to sustainable forestry and minimal waste from seed to shipping.

DaVinci Fireplace

Fireplaces add a touch of warmth and opulence to any room and Da Vinci’s fireplaces achieved both with their innovative and luxurious designs. From safe touch glass and proprietary double-pane design to TouchSmart Control and Smart Home Automation, Da Vinci’s fireplaces can be custom designed to make a statement in any space.
Functional and stylish lighting designs also caught our team’s eye. Modern Mirrors’ LED lighting for vanities and mirrors illuminate any beauty space. Sean Lavin wall scones were both sophisticated and modern. Kelly Wearstler showcased striking ceiling fixtures guaranteed to be a focal point in any space.

Other winners that combined innovation and striking design included Murphy Door’s Mirror Door that conceals an entrance behind a floor-length mirror, Aquor’s leak-free and frost-free hose bib for outdoor water use, Legrand’s lighting switches and wall plates with Smart solutions in an array of colors and materials, and Sugatsune’s integrated designs, soft close lids, and precision hardware and hinges that elevate closet, kitchen and office organization.
