On these long hot summer days and warm evenings, this SweisKloss designed patio in the Miracle Mile neighborhood of Los Angeles is the ideal setting for enjoying outdoor living.

SK installed a six-panel bifold glass door to blur the lines between indoors and outdoors, creating a seamless connection to the backyard retreat.

Thoughtfully placed landscaping, potted plants and lush hedges enclose the space, enhancing privacy while introducing greenery that transforms the patio into a tranquil oasis. The custom pergola provides a respite from the sun, allowing the homeowners more time to relax in comfort.

The focal point of the outdoor living area is Earthcore’s Isokern gas fireplace, complete with a weathered oak log set that creates ambiance, warmth and coziness. Earthcore's product range of recycled and natural materials features clean lines and understated elegance. The white stucco contrasts beautifully with the dark wooden floating shelf and exposed pergola beams, complementing the home’s Spanish style architecture. As evening falls, carefully positioned wall scones, landscape lighting and lanterns cast a soft glow, enhancing the atmosphere while still allowing the moonlight to be center stage.

Designed for both relaxing and entertaining, the patio offers multiple seating areas, from a cozy loveseat to deep lounge chairs and a roomy couch. Weather-resistant furnishings with clean, contemporary lines create a timeless coastal aesthetic. A neutral color palette of soft grey, muted green and classic white is enhanced with layered textures and subtle patterns to add depth. A built-in grill, beverage center and prep area make dining alfresco effortless, with everything needed just steps from the spacious outdoor dining table. Whether dining or gazing at the stars, this thoughtfully designed outdoor space allows the homeowners to enjoy Southern California’s outdoor lifestyle all year long.
